Invented by Di technical staff in collaboration with the Engineering Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army, its layered, blast-attenuating sole is built to absorb the force of a mine and protect the wearer’s foot and leg. It saved the lives of thousands of soldiers and de-mining personnel, and remains the range’s proudest piece of engineering.
